Jose Cortes, Senior Consultant

Mr. Cortes is a Senior Project Controls Manager with over 32 years of construction management experience. His responsibilities include construction management, scheduling, estimating, cost management, and procurement for large-volume commercial, industrial, energy, and institutional construction projects.

Jose is directly responsible for developing and tracking all aspects of the project cycle, from land acquisition, pre-construction and design, through execution, commissioning and close-out. Jose has extensive practical experience with operations, detailed planning, logistics and execution.

His academic and professional training coupled with a skilled trade (journeyman carpenter) enables him a direct, hands-on approach to any construction-related issue. His experience spans data centers, sports venues, medical facilities, airports, high-rise structures, industrial process/manufacturing (including EV automotive), oil & gas, chip manufacturing facilities, electric transmission & distribution projects, K-12 and higher learning educational facilities, and nuclear facilities.

Jose holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Texas A&M University.
